Changing the world one mistake at a time.

One of the biggest secrets in Edinburgh’s West end is The Library of mistakes.

One of the biggest secrets in Edinburgh’s West end is The Library of mistakes. Hidden behind a former government building in Melville Street (mid demolition) it is easy to miss. Unless, like us, you are in the know.

A hub of research which houses a selection of quirky curiosities and a fine collection of books related to the ups and downs of financial markets and businesses throughout the years.

Housed in a building which was formerly a meeting place for Guides and Brownies, it has been beautifully adapted for its current use.

It is the perfect backdrop for hosting your event, whether entertaining clients, running a seminar or giving a presentation. It is regularly used for book launches and talks and, word has it, that it may hold a little jazz evening soon.

Access to the The Library of Mistakes is free to readers but before you visit you need to register through the website:

www.libraryofmistakes.com/visit

Once registered you can make an appointment to visit anytime Monday-Saturday 9-5.
